Fitzrovia sits right in the heart of London, bordered by Marylebone and Soho, with access to the very best that The City has to offer. From the utterly unique Fitzroy Square to the beautifully preserved mews and alleys – Fitzrovia is a rich well of luxury property, packed with excellent shops, restaurants and connections to the rest of London.
Fitzrovia’s central location opens up so many possibilities for shopping, eating out and leisure. For everyday shopping, there are several supermarkets including M&S, Tesco and Sainsbury’s – and the classy St. Giles Shopping Centre is not far away. If you’re looking for somewhere special to eat out, then Carousel’s global cuisine is as excellent choice, or why not pay a visit to The Black Horse, an urban-traditional pub and cocktail bar.
There are plenty of options for leisure, from the neon-lit Fitness First gym to the beautiful Bedford Square Garden. Equally, there are lots of museums and galleries, from the Cartoon Museum, to the Dominion Theatre, and the British Museum which is a short distance away.
Fitzrovia is fortunate to be full of classic, Georgian properties as well as glamorous stucco-fronted homes. Car & road: Fitzrovia is easily accessible by the A40 and A501 roads located nearby.
Bus: There are numerous bus routes that serve Fitzrovia, including the 73, 476, and 390, which offer connections to other parts of London.
Train: The nearest railway stations to Fitzrovia are Euston and King’s Cross St. Pancras, which are both a short walk away. From here, trains run to destinations across the UK, including Manchester, Edinburgh, and Paris.
Tube: Fitzrovia is served by several tube stations, including Goodge Street, Warren Street, and Tottenham Court Road. These stations provide easy access to other parts of London via the Northern, Victoria, and Central lines.
Cycling: For those who prefer to cycle, Fitzrovia has plenty of dedicated cycle lanes and quiet streets. The area is also served by the Santander Cycle hire scheme, which allows residents to rent a bike for short journeys.
